Honda CR-V
The Honda CR-V is a great introduction to an SUV. It comes standard with all the basics, like a 5-inch LCD screen, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and automatic climate control. It goes on to offer various upgrades, like a 7-inch touchscreen and heated leather seats.
Under the hood, you’ll find a standard 4-cylinder engine that pumps out plenty of energy at 190 horsepower. Also standard is 2-wheel drive, which produces an EPA-estimated 28 city/34 highway MPG across all 2WD trim levels.1
CR-V Hybrid
Ready for even more efficiency? Choose the hybrid CR-V to experience an EPA-estimated 40 city/35 highway MPG across all trim levels.1
The CR-V hybrid adds in additional cool features, like standard Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ to boost your traction. Do a lot of night driving? Standard LED headlights with auto on/off will guide the way.
Honda HR-V
Though it has a similar name to the above, the Honda HR-V shines all on its own. It already comes standard with a number of features, like Push Button Start, a 7-inch touchscreen, and connections to either Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™.
Available SiriusXM® and HD Radio™ bring even more entertainment, which you’ll hear through the available 8-speaker sound system. While the music sets the mood, automatic climate control sets the interior temperature to your liking. Upgrades to a dual-zone system as well as heated front seats will really create a cozy, customized cabin.
Honda Passport
If you’re adventurous, the Honda Passport will be the model to research. It’s much more robust and comes with a dynamic V6 engine that generates up to 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.
The standard Intelligent Traction Management System gives you access to Snow mode, which comes in handy during the winter. Upgrade to the all-wheel drive Passport, and you’ll now have Sand and Mud modes, too. As you can see, it’s equipped for all sorts of surfaces!
It also has the capability to bring along your gear. The 2WD drive Passport handles a maximum of 3,500 pounds, while the AWD version manages up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Honda Pilot
Lastly, we’ve come to the Pilot, which is the only 3-row Honda SUV choice. With 7 trim levels to choose from, this model really makes a name for itself by giving you all the right feature combinations.
It’s similar to the Passport in that it comes equipped with the V6 engine and the Intelligent Traction Management System. It can also tow a maximum of 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Plenty of features within the Pilot are designed for life on the go with kids, like standard Remote Engine Start and the available Advanced Rear Entertainment System. Up to three USB charging ports and a wireless phone charger are available to keep everyone’s devices powered up.
